Prosecutors say a San Bernardino police officer was justified and within his right of self-defense when he shot and wounded an armed and drunken man at the man's apartment in February.

A San Bernardino County District Attorney's Office report issued Monday said Officer Jason Betts "was in fear of his life" when he fired at Corey Allyn Day on Feb. 27.
