Redlands' public trails will be the beneficiary of many volunteer hands and tools as HandsOn Inland Empire (HOIE) sponsors a Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service Event.

Partnering with the Inland Empire Resource Conservation District, the Redlands Conservancy will coordinate the MLK Day volunteers from all over the region to help repair trails from the recent storm damage. The service event, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 17, will stage at Oakmont Park, adjacent to 31211 Sutherland Drive in Redlands.
