Cornelius "Case" Brinkman, a longtime resident of the Redlands area, died of complications from a broken hip and Alzheimer's disease Sunday, Oct. 2, at Braswell's Colonial Care in Redlands. He was 88.
Brinkman was born Nov. 7, 1916, in Zaandam, the Netherlands, the third of seven children. In 1942 he married Johanna Grafe and together they weathered the storm of World War II, living under the occupation of Hitler's regime.See the full content of this document
