REDLANDS - The City Council will vote at its 7 p.m. session Tuesday on supporting two ballot measures.
The council will hear presentations on measures M and J. Measure M would provide $500 million in bonds for the maintenance, acquisition, construction, improvement, furnishing and equipping of Crafton Hills and San Bernardino Valley colleges. According to the staff report, the bond would allow the colleges to "provide affordable, local higher education, to train and retrain local residents for higher-paying and skilled jobs, and to enhance educational opportunities for the students in the district who desire to transfer to four-year universities."See the full content of this document
