Developers Need More Points to Score Permits in Redlands

REDLANDS - Developers of two proposed housing projects will have to refine their plans in order to earn a few more points toward residential development allocations or plead their case for the "as is" projects before the City Council.

On Tuesday, the Planning Commission judged the projects on consistency with existing zoning; design, architecture and construction; and site design and grading design, including landscaping, traffic circulations and open space. The projects had already been judged and awarded points by city departments. A total of 90 points is required to receive a share of the city's residential development allocations.
