REDLANDS - The new play at Redlands Footlighters Theatre opens with Bill (Joe Baumbach) waking up in the honeymoon suite of a tacky hotel. But the woman next to him in bed is not his bride-to-be.
The split stage, designed by Tom Hurst, presents both the honeymoon suite and adjoining living room, making for visible action on both sides of the stage, simultaneously. So when Bill's best man Tom (Mark Butler) enters into the adjoining room, the audience is able to watch the chaos unfold as Bill begs Judy (Mia Mercado) to get dressed and leave.See the full content of this document
