SAN BERNARDINO - An 8-year-old boy and his 33-year-old father were killed Saturday after a gunman opened fire on a San Bernardino family of four eating lunch at a Del Taco restaurant.

Authorities said the 56-year-old gunman walked into the restaurant in the 2000 block of East Highland Avenue with two semi- automatic weapons and started shooting after exchanging words with the family.
