Heralded by one of the most ubiqitous mass marketing campaigns in film history, the beloved classic "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" by Christian author C.S. Lewis makes its way to the big screen Friday, Dec. 9.

Amidst the sniping and griping of Christians, non-Christians and critics alike, Hollywood presents the magical world of Narnia in an early showing 6:45 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 8, at Regal Plaza 16, 3535 Central Ave., Riverside. The Redlands Daily Facts invites moviegoers to review "Narnia" at this early screening. Members of the C.S. Lewis Foundation, an international organization based in Redlands, will also be attending the special screening. The movie opens at Krikorian Premiere Theatres in Redlands at 9:15 a.m.
