REDLANDS - The City Council approved six conditional use permits Tuesday as part of a plan to expand two companies' mining operations in the Santa Ana River Wash.
Robertson's Ready Mix and Cemex Construction Materials Pacific, LLC, applied for six conditional use permits - three each - that would allow the companies to expand their mining operations in the Santa Ana River Wash at the north end of the city. The plan includes at least 1,190 acres of quarries in the wash that lie in both Redlands and Highland city limits.See the full content of this document
