RANCHO CUCAMONGA - It has been 12 years since the Northtown Housing Development Corporation was created to revitalize a community that's only about a mile long and a quarter-mile wide.

Northtown, bounded by Archibald and Haven avenues on the west and east and roughly by 26th Street and Eighth Street on the north and south, dates back to the days when vineyards and orchards covered most of the Inland Valley.
