Summary
As July approaches, the City of Redlands should have a feeling of great pride that we have had Mel Enslow in command of our fire department since 1991. I have had more than 8 years of personal experience working with Mel.
Because of his motivational skills, he will leave knowing that his real legacy may be the team of well-trained firefighters and paramedics he has following in his wake. Battalion Chief Jim Drabinski is certainly one of those well-trained professionals he has been trained in the field, in Redlands. And by being available to step into the chief's chair, has saved the city of Redlands thousands of dollars by not having to hire a "headhunter" to do a national search for candidates.See the full content of this document
