"War of the Worlds" is a sci-fi horror film with everyone on the edge of their seats. Tom Cruise plays Ray, a divorced father who is everything but enthusiastic about having his two kids, Rachel (Dakota Fanning) and Robbie (Justin Chatwin), over for the weekend. Ray reassures his ex-wife (Miranda Otto) that everything will be fine, and bids her farewell. Soon thereafter, Rachel, Ray and Robbie witness a freak lightning storm. Ray orders the kids to stay inside while he examines the damage, only to discover his town in panic and an alien machine to blame. Cars stopped working, all electricity is gone and cell phones seem to have lost power.With one box of food, his two kids and the only working car in town, Ray begins a bloodthirsty game of hide-and-seek.See the full content of this document
